Sorry to break the news but, coupe vs coupe, it's a drivers race.

G37 vs. 07 Sedan. Sedan has a slight edge.

Here a Road and Track review of the G37 vs the Sedan.

Has anyone noticed the Road&Track Road Test Summary stats on page 124 of the latest review:

G35: $36K 0-60: 5.3sec 1/4Mi:13.8sec@102.9mph Breaking@60mph:116ft Skid:0.88g

G37 S: $42K 0-60:5.5sec 1/4Mi:14.1sec@102.5mph Breaking@60mph:121ft Skid:0.86g

Here a snag-it from Dragtimes.com. G coupe vs G37.. Very close race. These times are stock for stock. # = stock, * = pics avail..

the best example is to have the two race same track, same day, same driver.

i saw that R and T stat and it was an updated stat of the G35 during their recent sedan shoot out.

i can hardly see the times on dragtimes. from what i looked up on the site it only had 13.9 as the lowest. there have been guys who are in the 13.7s...with autos.

nevertheless, not a big jump in performance.

sweet. just clicked it. 13.82 for G35...Khaboom from this board did 13.7 in an auto. G37s from bimmer boards (no lesss...lol) racing against 335is have been at 13.7s on autos as well.

i think with more drivers hitting the track the 35s and 37s can get lower times than that.

Ya that 14.1 is a little off. All average/best 1/4 times I have seen for the G37 have been high 13s except for 1 or 2 magazines. I also remember seeing a 0-60 or 5.3-5.5 for the G37 as well.

These comparisons mean nothing. They weren't tested at the same time in the same conditions...

Not really. It's meaningful weight. The doors are so large, so they needed extra support.

yea i would believe it when they both go head to head.. but what would hurt the g37s the most has to be the g35x the all wheel drive.. i wonder if the awd model can beat the 37

i dont have numbers to support what i am about to say, but it is the truth. the 2008 G37S is faster than the 2008 G35S. i say this from personal experience, driving both cars on the same roads in the same conditions. both had nothing in the car except for what is in there stock, except for me. no CD's, air fresheners.. nothing at all.

the G35 feels more smooth in it's ride, but the G37 is faster. the G35 also sits much higher than the G37. it feels almost like an SUV. i was looking at the other cars on the road, and i was definately riding higher than every car i had seen other than an suv.

this is comparing 2008 S models vs each other. G37S coupe vs G35S sedan.

Edit: i have about 200 miles on the 2008 G35S, so i got a great feel for it.

one review claimed that 0-60 was 5.1s...don't know how accurate that was seeing how most reviews seem to report 5.3s. still, a major upgrade from the 7.4-7.5 on my last car haha....which was actually decent in 2000.
