yeah....his was a 6speed. i just posted on there as well. he seems mighty convinced the G37 auto was modded. unless intakes drop 1/4 mile times by .3seconds (which would be awesome...but unrealistic)...that G37S was bone stock.

oh well...i'm not going to be a narrow minded badge nut hugger...i love both 335i and G37s, i'm a car enthusiast after all. and that aplies to ALL cars and not badges.

Speaking of the "narrow minded badge nut huggers" watch these two links (im guessing they were about the G35 coupe and the older BMW, the first one is funnier) make sure you watch them in order.

enjoy P.S. I am not bashing BMW, I too love both the 335, the G37, and in March the 135i (which is gonna be a much bigger problem for the G37 because its 335 performace (if not a bit faster due to being 200lbs lighter than the 335) for G37 price, should start out at 35000 for the manual and includes the aero package)

i have to admit....both benz and bmw have marketed their products well. their product placement in ads and movies seem to accentuate the 'higher class lifestyle" so attractive to young adults and older generations alike.
even with automobile faults you can never tear a bimmer owner away from his car...the badge definately stirs passion in people.
although lexus is gaining a reputation as well, infiniti is always left in the shadows when it comes to mid upscale luxury cars...again it all comes down to marketing. infiniti has been around since 89' like lexus but they only really started to charge on after the G35 in late 02' (at the time their 3 series killer). i mean let's face it...are there ANY memorable infiniti cars that DIDN'T VQ pre-2002?
let's just hope infiniti doesn't take it's eye off the target and try to remain competitive. look at lexus, it's a real aggressive move for them to market the IS-F and soon LF-A to match AMG and "M" brands alike. lexus definatly has a killer attitude. infiniti should be just as aggressive and not just bask on the spoils their G35 got them.

In my opinion Infiniti needs their own in house tuning division such as BMW's M, Mercedes' AMG, and now Lexus F. (Though what letter they would have to choose would be a mystery, since most seem to be taken up already haha, alphabet soup.)

LOL I replied on there asking about Mods being available for the G37, I like how he points out:
LOL Damn Hater!
And How did he pay the same as a G37?
I paid $41,600 Fully Loaded, How much does a Fully Loaded 335i Go For? Unless he didnt add seats or air conditioning in his car which Bimmer Charges for lol
(No offense to the G37 fans - its a decent car but it's no bimmer. The 3 is still "king")

kinda funny because i remember a time when bimmer owners loathed 1/4 mile times and were so high on handling and track performance (something the G37S is great on).
like a lot of bimmer owners he LOVES his car. but i feel you can LOVE your car and not 'hate' on others as well.

i don't think he's comparing apples to apples. on one line he states that the G have nav and all these other options (plus it was a sport package)...while he states his is bare bones....so he's comparing a decently equipped G37S with a bare bones 335i. but his logic states that he paid the same amount of car that is better in the 1/4 mile.

BMW's are great cars, They always have been except for resale value and Electric Issues that are related to German Cars, They seem be to be the King Machine, I totally agree with that, theres a reason all magazines and people rave about them, but there always comes a time where you have to realize theres other competitor companies out there that can sometimes end up being better, and the time will slowly come where this will happen, but for some Reason I just dont like the looks of 335i's and the interiors, people say they look hot, and I look at them and say, that plain old boxy looking sedan, Hell I think a Acura TL Type-S Looks hotter, even the interior, But to each his own
