Crazy how just a year ago the black ones with the titanium badge were more rare and sought after than the gold with carbon fiber (A black one even sold for $1k a couple weeks before the group buy). Then the group buys came along and switched the rarity over to the gold. Every person I've came across with one refuses to sell it. Good luck on your search Black Betty, I'll also keep an eye out if I ever come across one.

Bit the bullet and bought the Tommykaira airbag cover. The smooth grain goes with Ryne's steering wheel better than the OEM. So we'll just say that that was the justification I needed for this purchase!

I remember when I first saw the covers. I knew I didn't want "the turtle". When I saw the one I got, I knew it was the one but I was trying to justify spending that much on just an airbag cover. The fact that it's so rare, I just had to get it....even if it means sacrificing my TS hood struts.

It is very nice but imo the TommyKaira should have been embroidered or something more than just stamped. I passed on it because of that.
