Motordyne Intake Manifold

Anyone on the forum have the chance to apply this to their g37?

I have been following the following thread on a 370z forum very closely and it looks very promising.

The 10HP loss was up top, where you wouldn't even notice it.

Seems like everyone is getting different results. Tony (Motordyne) collecting all the data and posting it up = ftw!

You should see similar gains to the 370z and the G37 coupe.

Results are too mixed with cars that have the typical bolt-ons. $700 is a lot fir a shot in the dark.

Ahh I love this forum, it's at it's young stages, just like how g35driver was 5 years Ago. Coming from then, no one gives a shiet about HP anymore, screw that dyno screw how much u get, as long as it looks goooood.

I just recently saw the Kinetix one, holy moly looks siiick (on the 370z) I dont give a shiet if I loose 20hp I'll take it, looks bling and nice.

But this plenum..hrmmm....can the cover be polished? Anyone know what material it is?

I think a lot of people care about hp.. Who gives a **** about how good it looks it will usually be covered by the engine cover...

it seems to get consistant gains throughout the band whether stock or modded. though some lose a little top end as a sacrifice for a much better low/mid range...hmmm...

on a coast basis...people pay $1200 for an exhaust that gets the same gains. in comparison $700 doesn't seem too bad...but we'll see. i remember back when plenum spacers for the DE were so disputed...now it's considered a basic must for n/a for the DEs...

It's a metal pate. Looks ugly IMO. but the OEM cover will fit over the manifold should you choose to not use the Motordyne.
