Hi guys,

This is my first post here. Didn't find much discussion on what people usually do with their stock/oem parts after they upgraded them.

e.g. springs, shocks, exhausts, intakes etc

do you keep these around the garage? or is selling it to the shop that installed it for you (say lowering springs, for example) a possible option?

If you're on a lease, keep them for sure. If you plan on selling the G, it might be a good idea to keep them.

A lot of people try to sell them on here and other forums. I doubt any shop would buy them as they would have no need for them

oh and welcome to the forum!

Many folks keep them "just in case". If there's a failure or malfunction later, you can reinstall them while the new part is being replaced rather them have down time. If you decide to change parts again, you could put the stock parts back on and sell the upgraded ones to have money to buy the new ones you want without down time.

I learned my lesson.... save everything. When the time comes to sell/trade, go back to stock, and sell the aftermarket parts to get some of your $ back.
