takeda intake?

I searched and saw nothing but has anyone ever heard of takeda intake for the g coupe? it is made by a company called afe. my one buddy is suggesting it to me but cant really find any info. they have a dyno on their site suggesting 18hp and 20tq which i dont know if i believe that for a bolt on short ram system. any info would be great!
One other thing while im on it i read on cobbs website that the accessport is not recommended with aftermarket intake yet noticed a lot of guys are running both. whats the deal with that why do they say not to but apparently doesnt matter?

Never heard that about the accessport. On the contrary most use it along with a few mods because other than an actual tune its the only way to get most of the potential of the mods on your car. I wouldn't get it if your only mod is going to be an intake though. If you add in an exaust and maybe HFCs or something then go for it.

He is lying. An intake will not add that much power.

Next time run a search. Trust me people on the forum might not tell you what you want to hear but at least it'll be true and not bull**** gains of 18+

Only intakes that even come mildly close to those gains are the Injen CAI and Stillen Gen 3. Run a search on those two. Individual dynos prove the gains.

thanks for all the answers as for the gains i know better than to believe the 18hp and 20tq like all of you said especially from short ram. decided to give it a shot have it on car now seems ok but not really noticing much increase. also threw on a magnaflow exhaust love the sound. im prob gonna get hfc's and cobb accessport port and chill out for a bit see if maybe once i use the cobb i could get it running a lil bit quicker. once again thanks for help.

not sure i deal with a company in my area for my work and it was the easiest intake to sneak through the company. if i tear it off i might just put the stock intake back on ive read numerous things about how good the stock intake is. however whatever i do with intake prob gonna add hfc's and maybe headers, get her tuned and chill out for a bit.
