This thread proves that almost all bimmer owners, no matter if they are your friends, are douche bags.
funny as im sure they say the same about us..seriously though if your a car enthusiast, then this thread should be sighed at and locked up..theres no hate for bimmer owners..if they want to be like that then thats them..
If one of my friends told me that I'd agree with him and compliment him on his car. If he asked why then didn't I buy a BMW I'd say because I prefer the looks, luxury and reliability of the G37 and it's no slacker in the performance area so overall it's the better bang for the buck for my tastes. There's more to a street car then 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, he's playing his strength, you nee to play yours.
find a wrecked Gt-R and engine swap it........G37'stein.......frankenstein..
Wouldn't work. GT-R engines aren't compatible with the 37. I don't think they are compatible with anything. Not even other GT-R's.
The setup in the GT-R is unique in that it has the transmission in the back of the car. Not only that but the engine and transmission are each built by hand and mated to each other. The engine of a particular GT-R will not work in any other car unless you shell out major cash to custom-something the pairing. By that time it's not even worth it :P
Yep, I'm a noob, but, have done a bit of drag racing. In that world, if someone with FI motor car was looking for head's up with a *otherwise similiar* NA motor car, he's already admited he's a loser, before the race starts. For BMW to be forced go to a 335 TT just to compete against a NA G37 says it all. ;-) Now, if a 335 could compete with a TT G37, then, IMHO, they could save face.
