THANK YOU Performance Outfitters Group - Stamford, Connecticut
I just wanted to take a minute and give a big Thanks to Brian Rosenburg at Performance Outfitters Group (http://www.performanceoutfitters.com/) in Stamford CT. Brian and his colleagues have been a pleasure to deal with - they are highly knowledgeable, professional, courteous, patient with my many questions, and the shop is pristine (and littered with ridiculous rides too, I got to see this one day there http://www.performanceoutfitters.com/rides%20raven.htm). I just wanted to make a public thank you to POG and Brian, and I look forward to working with them more in the future!!
In short, if you have a car, and you want to make it better, go talk to Brian at Performance Outfitters and you won't be disappointed!!
edit - i forgot to mention what they installed for me: HFC's, springs, wheels/tires, rear wing (including some heating/custom bending), balance/alignment. This was all after a less than positive experience with another facility.

Hi Guys,
It was a pleasure to work with DCook42 on his G. With a clear direction in mind for the most part, DC knew what he wanted to get out of the car with the equipment he wanted to use. For his Vossen 84's, we went with Vredestein's Ultrac Sessanta's which IMOP is an amazing tire for the money. They are up there in MI PS2 land of quality and performance characteristics and have a VERY aggressive tread patterns which shines in the wet too. I want to address some comments on the wing, pictures really don't do it justice. It was from Stillen which provided us a un-prepped piece. It has a lot of flex to it so a decent amount of "flex" additive went into the primer/base coat/clear just to be safe. If I had more time and a larger body budget, I would have grafted the wing into the trunk lid kind of like a e46 m3 csl trunk lid.
The springs, you guys scooped up so many of these kits early Eibach couldn't keep up... DC was trying to source these springs on his own but ran into some headaches with the vendor so he asked me to step and supply them. I called my normal equipment suppliers after I spoke to my Eibach rep and he gave me the bad news, big backorder... :-( Sometimes when sourcing equipment, you have to think outside of the box and having been in this business a long time, you learn how things work and that shipping errors happen occasionally. I proceeded to get on the phone with some very large domestic equipment suppliers that order huge loads of gear and sometimes kits they usually do not stock end up in their orders. I got lucky towards the middle of my call list from a distributor that happened to be sitting on a kit for awhile and he had no problem sending it my way.
At the end of the day, we took a very stock looking G37 Coupe and turned her into something that looks, sounds and drives great with room for improvement down the road. Other interesting G projects we have going on include taking a 03-06 G35 Vortech SC kit and retrofitting onto a 07 G35 with basic bolt-ons and the new Cobb AP for 07-up models for tuning which is happening this week.
Happy Motoring,
