Heres my 2 cents. There aren't any mods you can do to this car besides the obvious...rims,tints,drop,exhaust,intake,headers, keyless door handle, spoiler.
The only mods I would do is a drop and tints. Maybe rims but stock are pretty nice. Exhaust, intake, headers.....I would say is a waste of money cuz your paying $1,000 for just a different sound. An intake will give you like 3hp on that NA engine and 0lb torque probably and the g is already slow so unless your gonna go with forced induction, your wasting money on all those "performance mods".

Yea. I got my g coupe a few months ago and went with tints and now i want to put in an intake and eventually exhaust. I've been doing a little bit of research but still can't come up with the answer to which is the best intake to put in. I havn't read any negative comments about the injen but as for reviews for the stillen, fujita (and aem?) i havent found. Some help would be appreciated. So what do the majority of you guys say is the best intake to install onto the g coupe?
Also, i was looking into powder coating my stock 19" rims. The only thing is i have blue slate and dont really know what color to powder coat them. I was thinking either gun metal or the body color. What do you guys think would look better?

Well I was asking for opinions, not for pictures; with regards to the rims that is. Plus, there aren't any pics on the forum for blue slate with blue slate pc'd rims, atleast from what I've seen. Shoot me if I'm wrong.. Anyway, I saw the thread about the intakes, and I'm gonna go with the stillen gen3.

To be quite honest, my decision was based off of the dyno charts with which you provided and youtube videos with the sound. Also, one of my friends who knows a lot about racing, and g coupes also recommended the stillen. When I asked him the difference he said that they were so minimal that it wouldn't really matter..atleast to me. But in your opinion, which would you prefer?

Check out this thread, and you will know why I picked Injen. https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...ew-thread.html
this was the reason i went with injens. I'm sure the Stillen Gen3's sound sick too, but you can't argue with no cutting and perfect fitment.

Yea u guys actually swayed me over to the injen and i just bought one online . Anyway like i said earlier, ive been looking into powdercoating my rims, but after going thru pages and pages on the forum and thru every single photo album i cant seem to find any pictures of blue slate g37 with PC'd rims of ANY color. Does anyone know of any pics out there or of a thread that talks about it? Also what do you all think that a blue slate would look better with gunmetal, black, or blue slate colored powdercoated rims? Opinions would be great.

having your car and rims one color really only works with white or black in my opinion. but even in those colors it can be too much. I have OB and i painted my grill OB. Ive wanted black rims but after looking at some of the pics im thinking its to much. Your blue looks good with black rims and maybe even a blue slate pin strip on the outer wall.
