Hoping someone can help!

New G37. Had dealer install illuminated kick plates. Looked like there was moisture or water under the clear plastic (between clear plastic and black backing).

Waited 2 weeks -did not go away. Dealer replaced with new set.

Today I noticed a bit of the same again on both for the first time since they replaced them.

Anyhow had it happen to them? Help!

Take it back yet again, ask them to replace them one more time. If it happens on the 3rd set, ask them to replace the plates with non-illuminated ones and request a refund from Infiniti.

there is no denying that thet look impressive on a dark night, especially if you have changed out your interior lighting with matching LEDs (cool blue). They are not that difficult to DIY install. At $225 it was worth it.

I ordered them earlier today from a company online for $230 shipped. That was the cheapest that I could find. I just received an email from them about an hour ago letting me know they already shipped out and gave me the tracking #. Thats fast shipping! They will be here on friday. Looking forward to installing them.

Same here! What is that??? Water?! I just picked my car up last Friday, and I just noticed the moisture in my kickplates. Dealer is supposed to call me back to let me know if they want to install new kickplates. Hmmm. Is there water seeping in there somehow? I would think our cars are water-tight

I also have the moisture on the drivers side one. It really pisses me off alot, but apparently not enough to drive an hour to my dealer to have it fixed. Not quite sure how the hell it happened either

Add me to the list too. It was like that after they installed it. Just a little on the passenger side. I don't think water is getting in, I just think its air trapped inside ( I could be wrong though). Not enough for me to worry about it.

I eventually want to get the kick plates.. but can you switch out the lights inside them easily is the question.. anyone know?

They are a subtle glow.. I would rather put blue LED's in them for a nice color splash. Can that be done? Or are you stuck with stock?

You can change it, but its not easy. You have to carefully take the thing apart, and theyre not bulbs you just pop out and replace, you have to put a colored film in there to change the color.
