does matte paint wash and everything just the same??

You need to make sure the parts you are painting are well sanded. You should also try using a paint adhesive before the primer. I know there's also a clear coat for matte finishes that won't leave a glossy finish.

O man, you mean the whole car? I would just try to use a matte vinyl body wrap first.

It would be pretty hard to turn back if you didn't like it or if it didn't turn out too well. Atleast with the vinyl wrap, you can just peel it off.

matte black only looks good with really aggressive styling. not a stock g37.

Hmmmm.....I say go with the matte black vinly body wrap, matte black TS kit, and Volk GTS Phantom.
