Yep, its early, but its the only way to plan for this event! The hotels book up FAST! The MNGC had a great showing in 2012 and we would like to do it again for 2014.

As of this very moment, there are no more cabins available at Fontana village Fontana Village Resort. Maps & Directions (Where Zdayz is held) to accomodate those of us who may be going. There are however 19 rooms available of which 4 have a King size bed and the rest have 2 Queen size beds.

The rooms nightly rate is $109. You can reserve the room with $109 down.
I would strongly suggest that if you are even only 60% planning to attend, you go ahead and reserve your room now. you can always cancel later as we get closer.
We're also looking into other accommodations so that all of us can be in one cabin. These individual rooms are a good back up plan (in my opinion)

Tentative plan:

Leave MN on Tuesday May 13th
Arrive in NC on Wednesday May 14th

Take off from NC Sunday May18th
Back in MN May 20th

-St Paul to Fontana Village Resort, Fontana Dam, NC = 1003miles/18hr

Note: When booking ask if you can be put in "Garden Unit A" http://www.fontanavillage.com/maps/map_lodge.pdf That's where Tina and I have our room. At least this way we can still be in a group.
