screw $50 a fender.... heat gun and baseball bat time...
My thoughts exactly.. unless Emad gets a hold of one of these guys he knows that's the route I am going to take. Or the guy Peng borrowed from when they get back from their trip.
Hopefully my wheels will be in soon.... my bridgestones are almost bald in the rears!!!! 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 Yoko S Drives... only paid $772 including mounting and balancing. Oh yea, and I will get a $100 rebate so grand total when everything is said and done will be $672. Best bargain so far for the G. This is the Ford tire specials that I'm sure you've heard on the radio or tv.
Anyways here are some minor things I did over the weekend. Plastic dipped the front drill and installed the Journey lip. This was a candid shot, my brother just happened to park his car next to mine. He's used to have a white 07 white coupe.
^^very nice! i have both my sport bumper and bt aero sport lip sitting in my garage, taking both pieces to the body shop within the next week or so to get painted and put on!! will post pics soon!

Can't wait for you to post pictures of your new setup. Are you going to go through and have your headlights painted?

yeah that's my plan. however, i don't think i'll do it while i'm switching out my bumper though...because i also want to get the clear bra put on before the bumper starts getting nicked up. i'm thinking more fall towards winter to get the headlights painted, i'm sure oneeighty is pretty busy right now anyway with all the nice weather.
i wish i could get all of it done at once and see how it looks, but then i wouldn't have anything to introduce for next year lol

Yeah I was telling all my friends that I was not going to modify this car in any shape or form. Clearly I was wrong. I also installed the R2C intake as well.

Thanks you sir! Yeah it was a crash course on plastic dipping + masking. Was it hard to modify the journey lip for your sport bumper? Also have you posted pics?

Its hard to resist modding when you hang around the crew.
Here's a pic with the lip installed..... I had to trim the bumper at the ends by the wheel wells to get it to fit. There's a DIY on G35Driver on how to do this.
