Thanks for all the support guys. This was the probable out come for the last month or so, and I really did not want to, but I just bit the bullit today and called it.
The reason I kept this under wraps for the past month or two is, and this stays on the boards it still can't be regular knowledge with my situation at work, but I am probably going to go work on an oil rig in western ND for 6-12 months. I'm nervous and exited about that at the same time. It really wont be for sure until I go out there in a couple weeks and actually look for a job and housing, which is why I have not informed my current employer. Going to be a very crazy time for sure. More details to come, but et do ned to get together, or I ned to actually show up is probably more like it. I'm working Tuesday til 830, but would meet up after if you are still out.
Yo Taylor, Sorry you won't be coming down with us but I understand and respect your reasons. I have some good friends that have been traveling back and forth to look at business opportunities out there and I can tell you that housing WILL be your biggest issue. Some people are paying 2 grand a month just to rent a bedroom. And yes, there are a ton of job opportunities out there in and out of the oil rig. Like Janik mentioned...management positions outside of the oil rigs are even paying well. Even the strippers are pulling down 400K a year too if you want to try that out. Lol.

Im just not gonna drive it lol. They are so quick about plowing around here you'd probably be fine on the DWS. I got around the other day on the Hankooks and they arent even 1/3rd the tire the DWS is.
