Just spoke to Bryan, one of the head organizers of ZdayZ. He's asked us to help out with the actual show as a "group" or "crew". The actual newsletter i will try and upload/attach on our facebook group.
This would include helping with one of the events such as the poker run Bryan recommended.
Also, things that are in it for us as a group:
-club's logo added to event shirt
-club's logo will be added to the website as a sponsor for helping out
-club's logo added to publicity items, magazines, advertisements, etc.
-workers will receive a staff t-shirt
-and a club plaque.
3 diff options for sponsorship include:
1. provide staffing for one event(ex. registration, poker run)
2. provide name and contact for min of 2 volunteers and 1 alternate + $100- contribution.
3. $200- contribution for admin and logistical support, no volunteers.
I vote we volunteer as a crew and have fun with it meeting others??? Everyone okay with this? I need to sign everyone up as volunteers for the event.

Definitely up for volunteering at one of the events. Then I can get a t-shirt!
But in all reality that would be the option i would prefer.
Only question I would have would be are we staffing the whole event or part of? If we need to come up with say 20+ volunteers for an event that might be an issue since we only have 9.

I agree! Cuz it's only 183 days away. I ended up breaking my Droid Charge and then getting a new one and then having another issue with it. It's been just awesome >

My NONsmartphone is doing just fine Mikey!!!
Yeah, I know how that goes. Just try and make it a priority, I want all these bills taken care of asap. I'm also ordering Diego's gift w/ the last 2 people's payments, and everything will be good to go. Then its time to start saving for food and gas....oh, and booze of course
