Need some suggestions for a van/SUV for my mom. Hers transmission is going out on her van so its time to retire it! (She wants a van, AGAIN ><)
List so far:
2010-2013 Honda Odyssey
2010-2013 Toyota Sienna
2010-2013 Chevy Tahoe (My suggestion)
2010-2013 Honda Pilot (Second suggestion)
Any other suggestions?
On the other hand, I brought out the G today. FINALLY, holy **** I drove 50 miles today. No more old school jeep. I hope it doesn't snow Monday hahaha.

I think the newer Sienna is an incredibly cheap, low rent excuse for a minivan and I would never recommend one to anyone.. plus they are ugly IMO.
My suggestion if it has to be a van, is either a 2010-2012 Nissan Quest or a newer Odyssey. The Quest looks like a box yes, but the interior is like, infiniti levels of luxury and easily has the most plush interior in the class. Suuuper comfortable out on the road and packs a VQ under the hood so you know it has *****. The Odyssey is the best driving mini van when it comes to handling and has a very clever and efficient layout on the interior. Plus you get Honda reliability which is second to none.
The Pilot is a great SUV. I would also highly recommend one. Efficient interior, good value, decent tech. Etc. As much as I love Tahoes and Suburbans, if she doesn't have a need for towing, then they are just big massive fuel hogs.. reliable as hell, but drink gas like it is going out of style...
Another option to look at is an Acura MDX. They drive awesome, are very good values on the second hand market and have nice comfortable luxurious interiors.
