Well you aren't driving yours half the time hahaha.
Go drive 20k a year. Thirsty cars begin to add up LOL. If i didn't care about MPGs i'd be driving a QX56. But it wouldn't take long for $100 fillups to put me in the red. Especially once a week.
I would like to shoot for low 20s in town, and low 30s on the highway in my next car. I do not need all about horsepower lol. Much rather have a blend of performance, fun and efficiency.

i like janik's train of thought.... once you start driving that much and it hurts your wallet, mpg matter a little. luckily, anything over 24hwy to me is good enough... although a car that doesnt take premium and gets 34+ is amazing (kasey's car)... just boring.

I use to not care about gas mileage at all, but these days it does play a factor. I honestly wouldn't want more power than the G currently has if it meant downright crappy gas mileage. Now if I had a fairly fuel efficient DD 20/30 then I wouldn't mind having a fun car with big power and not so year gas mileage. I'm happy with the balance of power/efficiency the G offers, could be better, but good enough.

well luckily we won't have to worry too much about it in the near future..i'm sure by then all of us will have new cars, and they all have to meet the government regulations..so just have to wait it out until then and hope the gas prices don't get TOO ridiculous...

If I get mid 20's on the freeway I'm a pretty happy camper. I wouldn't sacrifice the power for better mpg's... There would be no way you would catch me DD'ing a car with 170hp that gets low 30's, absolutely not.
I agree with your highway mileage statement though. Anything in the mid 20's is good especially if the car is fun to drive!
This is true, and as technology advances the cars will stay just as powerful as they are now.

I don't have the same power craze as you all so it is easier for me to drive a less powerful car lol. Yea, i wont drive a 170hp car (but low 30s? New Altimas and Accords are getting 40s with 190hp lol) but a 250-270hp car that does low 30s ill be golden. 328i is a perfect example. I love that car lol.

I'm also talking about mpg's at like 75-80, not what the epa estimates them at what like 70 tops....
And I would probably rock a 328, but I would have to drive one first. Power similar to the G with low 30mpg's stock would be nice. And of course, with a stock turbo, much easier to make a lot quicker lol
You guys are somethin' else

Oh this blows. I was forced to go into my mom insurance since I am not in any ones policy.
$150 with two cars with just my mom on the policy (Monthly)
Now its $349 with my car and hers with me and her on the policy. =(
Does any one know if you can say no when the insurance company asks if you had and recent traffic violations?
I had one recently (5 over) and I got a stay of Adjudication along with my reckless driving + exhibition driving I got a this early summer. So technically, I don't have any thing on my record?
Also could some one clear this up. So I got a reckless and a exhibition early summer. I had to go to two different courts but same county for each of them. They were two days apart and I was both offered a stay of adjudication.
So about 2 weeks ago I got nailed going 78 in a 65 but the cop dropped it to 65 in 60. I went to see the traffic officer and he offered me the same thing. No moving violations within 1 year and it won't go on my record. I don't know if its a stay of adjudication but it sounds like one.
So now my question is, since it says you have to be found guilty in order for the reckless + exhibition to go on your record. Would my current speeding ticket count as a guilty plea, even though I was offered the same term as my last tickets.
