I don't like the styling of the ms6. I wanted a hatchback. Financial priorities and a possible big move coming up prevented me from getting the sti. Or a used M3. Or a ctsv. Married priorities are so different than pre-married priorities. And fwd does suck, but its not a deal breaker for me if the car is truly fun to drive which the ms3 is. I like autox. Not drifting ha ha

Although an awd ms3 would make my day

Yeah the S4 is far from slow. It'll spank any non boosted g37 on the road. But for the money there are betthere are better options.

yeah, I'm pretty happy. Part out went quick, I have quite a bit of equity in the car so a cash out after selling is def a great way to get ahead for what we want to do.

Isnt that exactly what BMW prides themselves in?

Plus coming from someone who takes pride in driving their RWD G35/G37 all winter I'm suprised you would factor any chassis with AWD. LOL

I dont mind a good AWD system. But M3s arent available with AWD and the regular 3 series IMO loses a bit of its spark when it is an AWD. They drive better with RWD.

The Audi.. well I almost bought a 05.5 S4 instead of the G after I got rid of the 05 G. I really liked that car but the gas mileage :/

C63 is a cool car, but thats more Andrew than me lol. Thing is so small inside and doesn't like, blow my socks off haha. I'd get that motor in something bigger i think.

I really am not an Audi guy, but for some reason S4s give me that 'fizzy' feeling like what James May always tries to explain. And after driving a new S5, i was pretty sold on it. Beautifully tuned chassis with an amazing interior. And the thing hauled *** pretty damn well lol. I just liked it lol. Balanced nicely, but yes, they do get fairly expensive. I think the one I looked at (S4 on the showroom) was mid 50s. Which in all honesty is about what a 335i runs or an IPL. So not ridiculously out of the ballpark range of cars in its class. lol.

If you want HP per dollar, go buy a Camaro ZL1 or a GT500 haha. I was looking for an overall package though and I think the 335/S4 are both nicely done pieces.

Maybe find a couple year old one thats CPO Idk i look around at all sorts of stuff.

Mike, I hate to break the news to you, but that is the 6 cylinder super charged LOL 2008 forward B8 S4s are a 3.0 V6 Supercharged motor. B7 S4s from 05-07 were the 4.2 V8s.

Oh really? I thought the Supercharged V6s were 09+....even better! I was worried the 6 Cylinder wouldn't sound as good as this. I guess I will know what I'm getting at the end of my lease lol. Throw on an intake and exhaust and you could get mid 20s on the highway. My M got 27 the morning I went to trade it in....that was a 4.5 with no cylinder shutdown or anything lol
