Not any decisions just more options ha. I have kind of been leaning on trying to find an 04 with a little over 100k so I could mod it like crazy when I first get it.
I missed out on an 04 with 116k for 7k that was fully loaded with nav....So I have been kind of looking for something like that.

Other than that I have been debating on trying to get an 05/06 with around 60k for around 13 but they are pretty hard to come by as well.

My ideal goal is to find an 04 with around 80-90k for like 8500-9k though.

I'm just keeping my options open right now and actively searching relatively close (MN,WI,IA,IL)

I'm still pissed the date got changed for the final meet from next weekend to the following one.

Got another wedding to go to this weekend, second to last thank God. Down in Winona too, so it should be a great time.

Mike, two oils I was always told to avoid, Penzoil and Quaker State. They are wax based oils, which often times can lead to unwanted deposits. I do think this has changed with the technology in today's oil and engines. But I still stick with Mobile 1. It's the world's leading engine oil for a reason. Curt and I had a fairly good discussion in that other thread he pointed out. I also ALWAYS do all of my own oil changes. Since I have been driving, I have never once brought my vehicle in this. I get a lot of satisfaction out of it. And the last time I changed mine, it cost me like $60 too, but it was full synthetic Mobile 1 and filter.

Now, I am going to go shopping for some 6k bulbs for the G and Edge I think.

Cheers!
Penzoil and quaker are definitely the worse oils. However I have been hearing that penzoils new ultra or platinum oil is supposedly pretty good.

As for mobile1 synthetic, you guys should check the auto parts stores for oil specials. I know autozone has mobil1 synthetic with a filter right now for 32.99.

I was just at Oreily, Autozone, and Advanced Auto Parts yesterday. Down here at least, they don't have the oil change special on Mobile 1 anymore, but I did find at Oreily and Advanced the 5.1 quart jug of full synthetic for only $30 on sale. I bought two to stock up. Oreily also had Sea Foam on sales for only $8, bought a few cnas of that as well. Advanced also had a deal on Rain-x lattitude wipers where if you buy two you got $7 off, so i picked up a pair for the Edge.

HAHA, I think Lance is just finding a way to say he does the house cleaning, laundry and dishes! JK! Hell I've been doing my own laundry since I was 12....so it isn't **** for me to go and do mine, same with dishes lol. I'm already pretty well trained. Sad tho when you have to instruct both your room mates who are 20+ how to do something so simple as laundry

I know I know!! I wanted to get Mobil 1 and the problem was the first place I went to had it and it was on sale, but I was looking for the wrong kind (extended performance) so the next place I went to, (autozone) only had 3 and I needed 6, so I figured I would get the Platinum. Next time I will be getting the Mobil 1 like I inteded to. I'm pretty sure they will even let me change my own oil next time lol, I will do it on my lunch break :P

Dinner is usually made because my wife has to cook to feed the kids .. works out well from me... but when Im home I take over and give her some time turn her self (especially on the weekends) so she doesnt go crazy.. Ive actually turned into a pretty good cook. When I met my wife I couldnt make anything but eggs. We watch food network together and I actually enjoy cooking now.. who knew..

I told her I would be willing sacrifice and get a nanny/maid... maybe a 20 -25 year old latina to help out... hehehe.. Surprisingly she didnt like that idea

Well that makes sense then. I didn't think about the area change, if it was different or not. I work at autozone here in fargo so that is why I said that.
And just a heads up on sea-foam...It's cheapest at menards etc. It's like 6-6.50 a can.

If they don't have it that is definitely one thing. I was just shocked at the 60 dollars just for parts for an oil change.

Mike, Wal-Mart has 5 quart jugs of M1 for only ~$24. Also... get your filters at Advance and use the P20 code for 20% off in store pickup. I've been using Pennzoil Ultra from Wal-Mart and that runs upper 20's for the 5 quarter.
