There isn't a big loss in MPG from 70 to 80 with our motors which makes opening em quite fun! Although I'm sure if u did the 4.083 conversion u would lose a pretty good amount. I was expecting it to take u closer to 6 or 6 n a half.....but I wasn't going to say anything LOL. U joining us on the 15th Andrew?

what can i say...lookin up exhausts is fun! btw lance..LOVE the sound of FI exhaust and hfc combo!!! bad a s s!!!
Well of course My #1 choice is Tony's SS catback with his Resonated HFC's. I will have this before we leave for zdayz. They also have the highest gains out of all of his TP's and HFC's.

hey lance, do you know how long fi hfc lasts?? i saw ppl sayin 2-3 yrs...
Like Mike mentioned after your question, HFC's really don't have an "expiration date". Its all what you use them for. Berks are 200 cell and FI are 300 cell, so a bit more dense and more restricting then Berks, but with less rasp, drone & with the equal or more gains.

Holy Eff, took me two days of browsing to get through the nearly 20 pages of material I have mised the last two weeks. Damn, and some of this is truely RANDOM stuff. Love it though.

I'm still pissed the date got changed for the final meet from next weekend to the following one.

Got another wedding to go to this weekend, second to last thank God. Down in Winona too, so it should be a great time.

Mike, two oils I was always told to avoid, Penzoil and Quaker State. They are wax based oils, which often times can lead to unwanted deposits. I do think this has changed with the technology in today's oil and engines. But I still stick with Mobile 1. It's the world's leading engine oil for a reason. Curt and I had a fairly good discussion in that other thread he pointed out. I also ALWAYS do all of my own oil changes. Since I have been driving, I have never once brought my vehicle in this. I get a lot of satisfaction out of it. And the last time I changed mine, it cost me like $60 too, but it was full synthetic Mobile 1 and filter.

Now, I am going to go shopping for some 6k bulbs for the G and Edge I think.

Cheers!

You can get the plasti dip from Lowes, Home Depot or Fleet Farm. The spray kind, which is what you want only come in Matte black. As far as the process to use since you guys are doing stock wheels with no lip:

-Wash your wheels
-Use a deck of card and place it between the tire and rim
-Use 2-3 coat of plasti dip with at least 30 min between each coat
-Buy Duplicolor for wheel in whatever color you desire
-Spray 2-3 coats again with at least 30 min between each coat
-After the last coat. wait and hour
-Apply as many coat of Duplicolor clearcoat as you would like to finish it off. I went with 4 coats.

That s the process in a nutshell Make sure you post your final pictures in the Mod thread. But keep all questions in the random thread. Thanks.

Trust me you don't want her crashing in the garage slam you car and let her borrow it for a day. You'll be in need of new bumper before the day is over

Oh and to answer your earlier question about which coils to get in that list. Go with Tein. What model is it that they are offering?

those are only gonna give you height adjustment. If you can, get something that has dampening adjustment as well.
