i will soon be an owner of a g37xs coupe, and was wondering if anyone wants to meet up and cruise,
i wont have my car until may (since it's being built for me as we speak), but i would still like to get to know u guys and learn more about ur cars until then, and all the mods you guys have, and shops you guys recommend,
it seems like there really isn't much activity for Metro Detroiters on this forum, lets get it started again, would love to meet all of u!

I think G owners are one of the worst when it comes to meets. I rarely see any around ... and let alone have people meet up at one place.

I've owned my G for almost 3 years now (May 2008), and if I see a G37 (or even G35) coupe on the road, I might get a nod or a wave back if they are young and male (forget females or older people. It's not like Jeep owners ... it's a *must* for them or be hated, young or old!)

I suppose I should comb the Z boards and see when they meet up. I had a TL Type-S and I used to go up to Toronto regularly and the meets were fairly large (20+ cars). I'm not driving out to Chicago since it's further for me and on the wrong side of the border ...

PS I live across from Detroit and cross over all the time. If you see a debadged athens blue G37 coupe with Ontario plates ... it's me. I go to Troy or Novi/Livonia all the time to shop.

Anyone with some spare time today and Sat should stop by the Convocation Center at EMU. FIRST Robotics is holding a competition there, entry is free. Come and see 120lb robots compete. If you come stop by, come over to the Frog Force 503 section and ask for Jeff. I will give you a tour of the pits and explain the game to you.

Wow, i figured the G owners around detroit would try to be exclusive about their cars, since there isnt that many Gs around here...
my g37 is currently on order and will be here in July lol (its quite a bit of waiting)
U should come out to the greatlakeszclub meet ups, i plan on going to the next one

 

For our April meet, we will be combining it with our Spring BBQ on April 30th at Kensington Park
When: Saturday, April 30th start at 11:00am
Where: Kensington Park, Novi (exact lot will be posted the week of the BBQ). The park is one of the nicest metro parks I’ve been to, with a big lake in the center, you can rent canoes, ride bikes etc. We’ll have a football, frisbee and anything other activity (maybe cornhole for you midwesterners).
Who: Pretty much anybody with a Z/G/240 or Nissan/Infiniti is invited as long as you are mature, responsible, and cool to hangout with. We will not tolerate burnouts, revving, etc. You do not have to be a member to come, so feel free to come, bring the family, and meet the group to see what we’re all about.
How: The picnic will be potluck style. Attendees can either bring a food/drink/utensil or chip in a couple bucks (maybe $5? depending on how much you eat lol). I will update this post with a list of who’s bringing what so we don’t have a 20 bottles of soda or something.
