GLZC 2012 March meeting
Hey all, just dropping in to announce our clubs March 2012 meeting. We are still alive and kicking.. and growing in membership.
We will be having our March meeting on Thursday night (3/22), 7pm @ Scores Bar and Grill:
Home - Scores Bar & Grill
24365 Halsted Road Farmington Hills, MI 48335-1609
Agenda includes:
1) Announcing the results of the elections
2) Planning of events
I will also have license plate frames available for purchase at $10 a piece.
Weather should be warming up so maybe we’ll see a few more Z’s come out of hibernation!
As always, don’t forget to join our forums if you haven’t! We have many interesting discussions and post the latest info about the club on there.

I'm in Troy, with a 2011 MW G37xS Coupe,
There really aren't that many G37 around the metro detroit area,
and the ones that are here are driven by older people who are usually not really into the whole forum/car scene
Join Great Lakes Z Club, there are a few G's including myself, that's the most active Z/G forum around this area
Here is the Link: Great Lakes Z Club | News and events for the Great Lakes Z car club
As far as custom shops go, I don't really know any around the area

Great Lakes Z/G Club Annual Picnic
Great Lakes Z/G Club Annual Picnic/BBQ at Kensington Park July 7th, 11:30AM
When: Saturday, July 7th, start at 11:30am
Where: Kensington Park, Novi (We will be in lot F, Orchard picnic area where the toboggan runs are held). The park is one of the nicest metro parks I've been to, with a big lake in the center, you can rent canoes, ride bikes etc. We'll have a football, frisbee and anything other activity (maybe cornhole for you midwesterners). There is a park entry fee of $5/car for the day.
Who: Pretty much anybody with a Z/G/240 or Nissan/Infiniti is invited as long as you are mature, responsible, and cool to hangout with. We will not tolerate burnouts, revving, etc. You do not have to be a member to come, so feel free to come, bring the family, and meet the group to see what we're all about.
How: The picnic will be potluck style. Attendees can either bring a food/drink/utensil or chip in a couple bucks (maybe $5? depending on how much you eat lol).

Yup, we are with the Z Club,
There is link to the site posted above.
It's mostly Z's but we all get along lol
But it's probably not as active right now since the weather took a dive.
And most owners store their cars for winter around this time.
