Do it!!!!! nah I'm having a local shop do the tail since i'm not going GTR style. The do headlight painting so I'm thinking I'll give them a try on the spare set I have for the Audi and if they do a good job then Tina's Terrain is getting some the headlight hook up by summer time

Tevi, which shop is doing your tails? I'm thinking of the same thing for mine. Although I may try the headlights on my own. Theres a diy thread on one of the forums that was really well put together.

Help! I need help!
So here are just a random few of the hundreds of ideas going through my head. So I've got the factory 17's with performance tires. Before next winter, I need to get new tires - that's not in question.
I went to Discount Tire today just to ask a few questions, and find out a little more about my current setup. Found out I've still got 75% of my tread left (actually makes things harder.. lol).
They've got their snow's on sale, buy3-get1 so I can pickup a set of Blizzaks for about $400. He also mentioned that they have a set of 20" rubber in the back. They have a 30 day return policy, and someone brought back a set that they haven't been able to sell. He said he'd do better than half off the tires since they have about 600 miles on them (can't sell as new)
So for roughly $600-700, I can buy 2 sets of tires and have the winter mounted on the OEM rims, I'd just have to find me some 20's. Not gonna lie - money is tight (wife's been laid off since September, received a call that she will be starting back up after road restrictions lift) I'm trying to find the best "middle ground" of a good deal, and wasted money.
Since this will be a year-round driver, I've really got no interest in dropping it. I need it to function in the snow too. Do our cars look decent with 20's and no drop, or am I better sticking with 17's or 18's? The reason I'm so focused on 20's is that out of the 3 sizes (18-20), 20's are the most common, thus - cheapest.
Do I get 17" Blizzaks, and 20" summers? Or should I do the Blizz and get some nice 17's for summer? Put the blizzaks on steelies, and keep my OEM for summer? AAAHHHHHHHH
Or do I say screw it and just get some nice all-seasons and not worry about the added expense of rims, figuring out which corner to store them, and the yearly dilemna of "Is it too warm for my winter tires? Is it going to snow again?" since there are roughly 6 monthes out of the year that it is either going to be 60, or snow from day to day.
Sorry for the long post - but I really need someone else with a level head to contribute. At this point, I feel that I'm trying to talk myself into some wheels that I don't need.

20s will look awkward on an AWD sedan that isn't dropped. Like straight up, the car will be able to go off road.
I'd definitely recommend winter tires though. The AWD sedans with winter tires are absolute animals in the snow.

Not sure why, but I've always been a huge fan of Axis rims. I wanted a set of Hiro's for the TL in hypersilver but they are hard to find now.
What do you guys think of the Options? Looks like I can get them in 18's, for $1450 ready to put on the car
