whats a good place to look for wheels that has a good selection? i either find crappy sites with el-cheapo wheels that are too small or sites that only have overly expensive brands...

depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for a 1, 2 or 3 piece wheel, if you're looking for a light weight wheel, or just for looks.

I'm with Tevi, a VERY nice wheel for the price is Vossen. They're a 1 piece wheel, a concave look, and pretty darn cheap for what you get.

Yeah cept I'd like to not spend $3500+ on just wheels alone. I realize that it's going to cost a bit, but I cant see spending that much on wheels for a DD.

In that case look at XIX, MRR, XXR or TSW.

I fell outta the scene for quite a few years, so its kind of like learning all this crap over lol. The tricks of the trade that I knew are all old news, the brands I knew are either gone or cheap now. Its a whole new game now-a-days.

Yeah it's constantly changing. I guess you can start off by letting us know your budget and It ll be easier to suggest decent brands. Also I just realize you had a 750. I had an 04 and then an 06 750. This is what my 750 looked like after all the mods. I miss tearing it up at BIR during trackdays.

Well honestly my budget is whatever I feel like spending. I leave in May for Kuwait and while I'm gone I'm sending the car away for quite a bit of work, but like I said I just cant justify spending that much for a DD wheel setup when they run a good chance of getting banged up. But I'm extremely picky also. I dont like flashy. I like the clean look that still screams this car is serious. Something that looks like it should be on the track.

Thats a nice lookin bike. I love love love my K5. I'm prolly gonna track it and get the 2011 BMW S1000RR for the street. I couldnt run the S1000 oon the track, too nice of a bike to drop.

This route, or just keep an eye on the classifieds. There's been some absolute steal on some wheels as of late.

Even Vossens, there's been wheels+tires going for 1600-2200.

Back to the rice topic, I consider rice to be fart can exhaust, gigantic spoiler, and often times unpainted body kits or only 2 upgraded rims. We are Japan made and I am a Ford guy, but I still never considered that to be rice unless someone made it that way.

You haven't been to C&C yet my friend Trust me there's haters that think "their group" are gods and no one else should be there. Not many, but a few that I'd be willing to take like I did the guy in Winona when he tried to fight you....took his head and it on the electrical box...LOL!!

^^ That was awesome. Then the cops came and cuffed him. I just hope for some respect from "real" car guys. We are not the crowd to put fart cans, huge useless wings and mismatched body parts on our cars. That's classless rice no one likes. You know I'm huge muscle car guy, and I still bought the G and hang with all of you guys who are classy. But there's also douchers in every large crowd I guess.

Well MNSpoco came down here a couple years ago when I had my coupe and it was pretty unbearable. Made me a bit upset I wasted a couple hours of my day hanging out with them LOL. Nice ppl, but some of their tatses are beyond what I would consider decent.
