I'm a buddy of Janiks from the Acura side of things. I think they met up with you guys last year. I came from an '04 Acura TL, now I've got a fully loaded '07 OB G35x sedan. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about a really cheap, high mileage one at Walser. I'm the guy that bought it. (They were asking $15k for it, but it's got 117,000 miles on it already)
All I can say is awesome car. Not sure how much I'll be modding it - I did that with the TL and made it a garage queen. This one has to last me all year (I sold my car last fall, and traded in my winter '02 Dodge Ram quadcab when I got this... gas was killing me at 11mpg to be using it as a DD)
Oh yeah - and I'm Brian, from Coon Rapids.

I think he does and you're right. if the demand is there, it s only a matter of time before someone makes a replica for a third of the price.
I'll give him a shout as we get closer. He s usually down to meet up for meets.

I barely dodged what could ve been a disaster. Seeing that today was a fairly nice I decided that I should take my G out and run it through the touchless carwash by my place. I had barely made it down the street that I felt a wooble coming from the passenger side. I turned around and drove home. I pulled into the garage, inspected the car and found that the driver side rear wheel was pretty much seating past the fender! It turns out the lugs were completely loose Guess I never tightened that wheel after I got them back from Lance Got everything tightened up, washed the car and went for a quick joy ride afterward

The ride on the Tanabe to me feels similar to stock which is good. With that said, the slightly reverse rake stance it offers takes away from the car's appeal. That s why I swapping the fronts for eibachs. My recommendation is to go with the H-techs for a better stance.
And good thing you noticed the wheel problem before it was too late.

I'm gonna guess that he means that the front is higher than the rear....normally teins n eibachs drop the front more than the rears....kinda like a drag car look persay.

HOSSAM ----- Remember if you go H-techs, Peng has 350Z H-techs which give an even stance. There were VERY bad experiences w/ the G H-techs and the perches not lining up giving it an uneven stance. The Z springs also drop a bit more then the G springs.
