John and I took out the front right spring and re-installed it last night! does it take the same amount of time to settle this time or shouldn't it settle faster the second time around?
by the way, that garage install style SUCKS, ESPECIALLY with those ghetto spring compressors!

what exactly did you do? Did you just take it off the purch and put it back on???

Yeah, took it off the shock readjusted the purch and put it back on and in the car. I figured maybe it was sitting wrong on the purch or the purch wasn't sitting right on the shock assembly. When I thought about it, I don't think swapping the left and right springs should make a difference, Tein said that the two springs are identical so in theory the left side would then be higher. I just want to make sure that the install was right so when I go to Tein and ask for a replacement set, I'd know for sure that it wasn't something we missed on the install.

just got off the phone with Tein and they still want me to swap the left and right to make sure its not something else in the car. he also claimed that stock Zs and Gs don't still even to begin with which i think is BS. this is soooo frustrating

Fellows, John and I are getting super close to get the first motor out! we have about somewhere between 5.5 to 6 hours in and another .5 to an hour to demount the motor. with this rate, about 7 hours an engine (hopefully we'll be getting faster as we're getting used to it!), we should be starting the car up again in about the next 14 hours of work (for a grand total of 21 hours). HOPEFULLY
