Just finished installing my old HKS on Neil's 04 G35X. She purrs now!!

Then i went and screwed around in the Vette... including a very fast pull down the freeway where I hit the top speed of my old G in a matter of seconds lol car is such an animal...

Now shower time (since i smell like **** after being outside all day working..)

Fairly decent turnout guys. Had absolutely great weather. Getting ready for the cruise.

 

Fabulous weather. Just got home. It is time for a nap...

 

I'm just about to pass out for a nap, it rained slightly on the way way home. But nothing too bad really, just a few minutes of it, and then sunny again! Was very fun to see everyone and meet some new ppl, I wasn't too crazy about the downtime between events, but it worked out alright. I'm glad over half the ppl that scheduled to be there showed up...that definitely added to the fun. I will have to go through and sort the pics and get them uploaded.

I literally shut my computer after making that post and passed out. Woke up, opened it up and am not making this post LOL

 

I want to change my tire set up and talked to a few guys today about it. I want to get some feedback from hopefully some more members so I can get a consensus (hopefully) on what size set-up I should go wit. I currently have 20X8.5 rims with 245/35's all the way around. I want to change the look and the feel without spending the dough rite now for staggered rims - Im planning this for next summer. In the meantime I am thinking of changing the rears out to wider tires. I am thinking 265/30's to widen and make the drop look even (Z h-techs). Do you think 265 is safe on an 8.5 in rim?

Big shoutout to Dave for the help organizing everything. I think things went pretty well, especially for how tough it is to judge "timing" to really estimate a timeframe(esp if people get lost or hung up)

I'm off to bed though...after I got home I haven't sat down since. Parked the car in the garage to cool down the paint, mowed the lawn in the mean time, cleaned the pool, then went to the garage to completely detail the car....

Just got done eatin' and playing with the pup....time for bed.

Tomorrow I'll try and get a thread going for photos for us too for people to post up. Tevi, Peng, Mike, he// anyone w/ a damn camera...let me know when you have the pics ready to post. I haven't actually done an official "unveiling" thread on here yet, so I'm excited to see some of the shots you guys got of my car so I can create a thread.

Nice writeup Janik!! The water suuuuure did bead up nice when i detailed it when i got home 2night after the meet!
