I also REALLY like the look now so much better. A very mild drop, but I am so happy I let you talk me into springs Lance! Thanks man.
Sweet! Im loving my drop too. That little bit makes a big difference

its suppose to rain on Saturday

i'm almost thinking that to stop by Lance's on Friday evening for the hella of it. i'm planning on detailing the interior tomorrow (panels, leather, and mats) and exterior on Friday. I don't know if i'm going to do a full wax (kinda want to do a clay bar first but that would take longer than just an evening) but i'm planning to at least do a cleaning wax on my rear bumper.

As for the rain, keep your fingers X'd bro....30% chance right now. Been watching it daily.

Sounds like there's a LOT of rain on the way...just hoping it holds OFF until after Saturday.

Yea, Friday is gonna be nice....remember last year when they said 60% chance of rain and it turned out to be one of the best possible days to have a meet? It was the day we all went out with the Acura club Keep those fingers crossed

Still in the works. I sent Dave the map we took w/ the Acura crew a few years ago since we could take it right over to WI after where we're eating.

I texted him today and he just said he'll look into it 2night so I'll let ya know asap!

SO Mike... heard you're the tire expert (but anyone can let me know what he thinks too )...

the story is: I NEED TIRES BAD. so here is what i'm looking at.

noise is important but traction is the most important to me (twisties lol )

I'm looking at these two tires:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....d%20Suspension

or

Continental ExtremeContact DW

The Continentals are ranked #1 but the Hankooks are cheaper and the survey numbers aren't too far apart. SO, what do ya think between the two? or do you have a different suggestion?

I know Lance has the Hankooks on the FX and he likes em. A buddy of mine with an M coupe has those exact Hankooks and he likes em too but neither car are being driven that hard i'm guess!!!

LMAO, i just got done with a dam decision on my Springs and now immediately after i got a different decision to make LOL

ZOMG! Do the Contis. I will do them next time around...just have to throw a fatty 295 on the back I was really going to get them for price, performance and handling were all awesomely ? rated. Most ppl I talked to that had them said that they were very impressed with them. I have the Bridgestone RE760s now, since I didnt think I could fit a 295 on the back...plus a 295/25/20 is a really small treadwall too, so I might have to do something diff next time around. I'd say hands down do the DWs!

TOYO T1R's FTW!! ;-)

lol, but no, in general....like i mentioned before as well, I vote IFFFFFF YOU plan to get aftermarket wheels within the next year or two, go kooks. If not, go a little more spendy.

***ALSO, I know a distributor you can get kooks even cheaper then that probably! I think I got the ones on our FX for like 600 shipped

My one concern with the kooks are that the sidewall is a bit softer than other cars, so if your handling hard on them I don't think they will provide the feedback and response you would want from them. I can always print off some pricing from my discount through work and you could take it to discount tire and have them match it if you wanted to....that will save you some money on install too. Mine is about 185/219 for front/rear per tire. The way I looked at it is, the tires are the ONLY thing that will actually affect how you can drive your car, you can have all kinds of mods and stuff done...but it doesnt mean jack if you don't have a good set of tires to go on.

I know Lance is really big on the Toyo T1r's too. Personally I would say get the improved handling and performance of the Continentals. But thats me lol
