As for camber kits, i don't think we'll be able to get in time for the install before CnC. So I'm thinking that we should see how springs look without the kits and then maybe meet up again if we all need em this way we can have our cars dropped in time for CnC! Let me know your thoughts

Janik is actually detailing my car next Saturday the 30th. I'll contact the guys from the shop to see if they'll cut us a deal like the LX club! I'll keep you guys posted. AIR TOOLS would be amazing for all you guys that drive your cars year 'round. The corrosion is a nightmare without them, trust me, found that out the hard way with my 06 coupe.

I work next saturday as well until 1:00, so if I can schedule it earlier I'll meet up with you guys later.


OH, and its $35 an hour guys. LET ME KNOW if you want me to call and reserve it, or if you guys want to call and get it all setup.

 

^ +1 on the corrosion... I recommend you guys spray down the nuts/bolts you'll need to remove a few days prior to the install with PB Blaster... it helps. Previous owner drove mine through 3 winters and a few of the bolts were stubborn. You can get at all the bolts by just turning your wheels all the way to each side. Good Luck

 

That sounds good. As it stands its not that expensive. We get an air ratchet and set of basic tools with the lift rental - 35 an hour and its 15 to rent the spring compressor for the day. If we can get a deal it would be really inexpensive. I'm not going to put my camber in until later in the summer. I don't drive my car everyday so it wont be that big a deal on tire wear. 150 for the kit is pretty good. I have to wait cuz I spent 2+ G's on toys over the past few months and the wife isnt the happiest about it! So we're thinking next weekend.. that works I'm off both days

 

Who all is planning on going to Lance's? I might not be able to make it down next weekend so I am just trying to see... otherwise I'll have to detail Lance's car on the 6th before the meet.

 

I m gonna be too busy with moving. I ll still make it to the meet but will most likely bail early.

don't spend $15 to rent a compressor...its free from autozone for as long as you want.

 

What do you guys think of the Scion FR-S? I'm kinda diggin the look. I just hope it has the proper power to match the aggressive look.
