Infiniti Service - Soured the brand

That's the spirit - go get em cause...
...too many people do really $hitty work and get away with it. Stand up for yourself as much as you need to; at the very least you'll feel better. Never surrender. Good luck!

I would call the Infiniti Inner circle people and let them know how terrible your experience with the service people were. I did ...yep, and I am not sorry to admit that I was a bitch when it came to feedback. So now every time I go back I deal with the service manager and after each visit I get a call from a manager to make sure that I was satisfied with the customer service. the number is 866-840-9224 And the other time I just wrote a letter to the corporate office.

I just picked up another filthy loaner yesterday. I suppose if this was my first experience with Infiniti I meet be like wtf but instead it would shock me if I got a clean loaner!
Just remember, service departments are run by dealers, they have nothing to do with Nissan or the brand Infiniti. If you have a bad experience, let it be known, this is the only way they will improve.

Wow service depts can be this way NO DOUBT.....but the moment they give u an answer u dont like u should just take it up with Consumer Affairs that's what I did and COnsumer Affairs treated me like a King. They expedited my shipments to overnight, called the dealerships to tell them to improve their service and complained on my behalf, etc. They literally got the service dept to treat me better...

perhaps suggest calling corporate and relay the problem, u'll probably be on hold countless number of times, but maybe/probably make it to someone with some power to officially do something. if not, u can say you tried.
i had to do this with my own experience with my first new car. and my incident was solved within a month.

Well I took the car in today for the 5th time. This was going to be the last too, regardless, I was not going to take any BS. I had been telling the regional specialist that I should be a priority to them, seeing as I am 24 and just bought a new g37, I will likely buy new cars from them again if I am satisfied.
Well amazingly enough, even the service manager was fairly snobby to me even still, he brought out the shop foreman who for ONCE was a knowledgeable person. I started up the car and made the muffler buzz and even though it wasn't as loud as a cold start buzz, it was noticeable. The shop foreman said he heard the sound and that he would get a new muffler ordered. (I'm assuming just the muffler, not the entire exhaust, fine by me since I have no rattle really, just the buzz sound).
I then told him about a very serious issue that has come up recently ( 2weeks ago). When I switch gears from 4th to 5th, or 2nd, 3rd to 5th, it grinds very hard when I push the car into the gear. I have made sure that I always have the clutch fully depressed. Needless to say I was really worried when my car started doing this, and it now does it 100% of the time when I try to switch into 5th gear while accelerating through any of the other gears. I figured it was a bad synchro, and sure enough, thats what the foreman said. He took the transmission specialist out and they came back in and said they had ordered some tranny parts that will be in next week to get installed along with the muffler.
I hope whatever damage that grinding did while putting the car in 5th, will be fully taken care of with the new parts they ordered. I'd like to see a whole new tranny, but I realize thats not going to happen. He also said that the grinding sound from the throwout bearing was normal, but I told him that I wanted it noted in the documents so that if it goes out later on I can point to that and show that it was not wear and tear, but that the issue existed way before wear and tear could be a factor.
I'm no fool, and the second a dealership tries to put me down as one, they should be ready for a well documented fight. I'm just really glad things are finally getting taken care of. I am going to expect this kind of service everytime now, and I will be sure that happens. I'm easy to deal with as long as people don't try to take advantage of me or screw me over.
Also, any reason why this thread was moved from General to the midwest region? Seems like it should be in General or at least in both.

i know how you feel. bommarito service/sales treats me like crap too because i'm only 19.
already had to call infiniti customer service to get some things taken care of.
since i cant really get a loaner yet, i make my salesman loan me his car whenever i take mine in for service.
once he gave it to me with less than an 1/8th tank so i took it back to him with "0" on the "range" meter
