If you are looking more for looks with simple install, go with the bright led fogs!
If you are looking more for function, then I'd go with the H1 Hid fogs.

Sorry for the confusion. We have in the past run into a few cases where the customer had to take a utility knife or a file and shave off a millimeter of plastic from one of the pegs so that the socket will line up correctly. Its nothing major and on a difficulty level of 0 - 10, this would be a 2. And again I enforce this has only happened to a few people. The vast majority H1 bulbs we sell fit in perfectly.

I had the exact same issue when mines came in SteveG37...did you make the mod to the housing to get them to fit? I'm debating if I want to do that.

On most H1 applications (such as some models of G37, you must slightly trim the socket in order to place the bulb in. This is just because of the tiny size of the original H1. All you have to do is notch one small corner, which does not affect any functionality or the fitment of the original bulb.
