When installing the replacement ***** you might want to add a very small amount of vaseline (or similar) to the tip of the studs and then push the new ***** straight in.
Also, the replacement ***** are two different length sizes (like the OEM)

Yes like Gio said the original ***** will just pull out no problem. They are not clipped clamped or glued in any way. You can also try using pliers to get a better grip, just make sure you don't squeeze too hard to damage the OEM *****, and also wrap the pliers with tape or towel to prevent them from cutting ur OEM *****.

They'll come out, just keep a firm grip as you pull straight out. Someone mentioned using double sided tape to get a better grip.
