I know this post is old but to anyone who can help and provide some personal insight. I purchased a 2013 G37x Sedan in October of 2016 with not even 20K miles on it, CPO also. Super clean, 1 scratch on body. Early this year (2017), the paint started to chip and peel (randomly) on the right side of body in several areas... dealer wouldn't help me, they couldn't show proof of them doing body work...ignored my calls etc/bad customer service, I wanted them to understand my full story when all I really wanted was to be heard and to see if they can do anything for me as I bought a car off their lot that is now chipping. I also have been loyal to them for service and have spent over 5K-6K in after market performance and cosmetic work through them. A case with Infiniti Consumer Affairs is pending now. However, I took it to a body shop to get a quote on the areas of peeling/chip, I was then told that they can tell the whole car was repainted in several areas (2nd time hearing this from different parties) there were variances in the color scheme that they could see. Left side was darker then the right (likely due to the pressure and temperature and prep work done when painted). They quoted me around 7K-9K to repaint the entire car. My fear is that the rest will peel eventually due to the bad prep work and I do not want a half *** job. I said NO. Way too much for me to spend on a 2013 G sedan that I paid 22K for. I am looking to vinyl wrap the entire vehicle, in a medium blue matte color. Any pros and cons based on personal experiences only would be appreciated by me
Thanks!
Thanks!
