Underdogs On Top… New Lab & a GT-R

BUSY !!!
Most used word of 2011 by far ! We’ve been making nothing but BIG MOVES this year, from welcoming a new player to our TEAM, moving to a new OFFICIAL shop, becoming DEALERS for some of the hottest brands in the automotive industry, to working on some of the dopest whips from minor mods to fully blown out projects ! That’s a short explanation for our lack of updates, but there’s just too much details to get into so keep posted and look out for dozens of galleries we’ve been stashing from 2011 !

For starters, here’s a few quick shots of our shop in current state. Its no facility considering Brooklyn’s rent rates, but it’s definitely a big step up from our last location. It’s still a work in progress as we wait for parts to arrive to fill up the our show room.

In the most recent news…

2012 Nissan GT-R Project Phase ONE !
Our client let us go at it with his GT-R and turn it into a neck breaker before the season was over. 2012 Cobb Tuned GT-R with a Meisterschaft exhaust and it wasn’t breaking necks? Of course it was… it broke ours, along with popping our ear drums, but it didn’t mean we couldn’t break more necks along with a bunch of “wtf?!?’s”. Some photoshop, paint, vinyl, parts and hours of attention to detail we spit this contraption out the lab.

Did a few things for a friends 2012 GT-R. Rims & suspension going in next.

For a full list of mods, check the work log thread here: http://www.nagtroc.o...g-build-w-pics/

Hate it or love it depending on the cultural scene you come from, but this project was designed with one purpose, and one purpose only…. to roll into a show or parking lot and scream “I’M HERE !11!!1!!” To grab your attention whether you liked it or not, because at the end of the day, this is our showcase to display specific custom fabrications we offer for the R35s. After giving a minute of your time to this creature you might call the Hulk or Shrek, you’ll realize that there’s a lot more to it than the flashy Matte Lime Green accents.

The conception of this project is to help promote our business, with plans to allow other up and rising companies to display their product or service. We felt that the combination of detailed fabrications applied to the factory trim with addition to a few quality replacement applications, then all tuned and dialed to work together with a vibrant contrasting color would indulge tons of feedback. Whether it’s positive or negative, all feedback counts.
This phase is a feeler, and the owner has plans to hit the 2012 shows & meets HARD. Ideas are already being thrown around for rim & suspension setup, and plan to paint the vinyl wrapped skirts and lips/valance for a neater look.

As of now, here’s the list of modifications done so far:

Congrats guys. Just gonna throw this out there, if you are looking for better rent rates have you considered moving out of NYC into Central NJ? Not North Jersey cause their rates are stupid high.

Yep we still have several in stock, send us a PM with what color you're looking for and whether you need it w/ the back-up camera or without.

Would never consider, there aren't many shops in NYC that offer the work we do, so we happen to get a ton of business from the locals. If we were looking for a larger location, Long Island would be a better choice.

I photoshopped the clouds to get rid of the messy power lines we had, the picture was originally taken for Google Businesses, so aside from the clouds and he flawless sidewalk, everything looks the same... the lighting is just a bit exaggerated

Well the green M3 wasn't our suggestion, Martino Auto Concepts just happened to choose the same colors that I was using for my G37 from early 2010, and being affiliated with them we hopped on the project to hook up the lights. This GT-R was our first complete theme project, but I promise that Lime Green was a 2011 thing and you probably won't see it used again for a while

I like it and congrats on the shop. Did you guys think about accenting the matte black hood vents with some lime green? Maybe online on the inside to make is subtle. Couldn't tell if it was already done or not. Would help tie it all in together nicely.
