Y-pipe options

So I recently installed a Top Speed y back on my Q40 now I'm looking for a y-pipe to complete the exhaust. I was looking around online and ran across a few different styles and was wondering which style would be the best option for flow and sound?

Not sure which ones those are but go with the top speed y to match your current exhaust setup. CZP has one: https://conceptzperformance.com/top-...yp_p_12090.php

You get rewards when you shop through them FYI.

Which design is best for sound and flow? I'm kinda leaning twards the the top speed pipe. The thing is that all y-pipe have 3" outlets and my exhaust inlet is 2.5" which concerns me that it may cause rasp

AWD or RWD? If AWD, the bottom most design will not clear the transfer case.

FYI The bottom pipe has 2.36" inlets and 2.77" outlet which is closer to the 63mm inlet size of the top speed exhaust.
i guess I'm mainly just curious about the design vs the others as far as flow and sound goes?

I posted in another thread earlier similar to this, but it may not be ideal but in terms of sound, pairing the Motordyne y pipe is a great combo. I found mine used for $350.

Do you have it paired up with the top speed exhaust?

I did. I don't think there was any major impact on power. When I switched to a full Motordyne exhaust, did a dyno and power was about the same.

So you swapped to a full motordyne exhaust and didn't see any gains over top speed?

yea, granted it was on two different dynos but the numbers came out to be able the same +/- 5whp. considering these were different days and different temperature, minor differences were due to variables. I've since sold my Motordyne and going single exit.

I got some generic 2.5 inch y pipe that goes two into one. its holding up well, except for the fact that the metal mesh around the flex joint just went bye bye somewhere XD. Cant really complain considering how much i spent
