Its there because you now don't have a catalytic converter to convert the harmful gases and the o2 sensors are telling your ECU about it. Now, you're raspy, less MPG's and killing the earth to boot. Captain Planet says get high flow cats and quit killing Earth. Yes, if you get a tune they can try to turn the indicator off.

Think outside the box. I bought Beluga resonated test pipes for $125. Then a pair of Magnaflow high flow cats for $160 a pair and was quoted me $35 to have them welded together... Just because they aren't ordered and purchased off some companies shelf, doesn't mean its not possible
