Stillen Gen3 causing over heating?

Tooling around the internets and viewed a quick vid of an install of Stillen Gen3 cai. Reading the comments one person was quite adamant that the placement of the filters and tubing in front of the radiator caused the vehicle to over heat due to lack of air flow over the radiator. Is this just some bs or a plausible issue with any long tube intakes?

I have a Takeda intake, which quite possibly covers more of the radiator with the larger single filter. No issues.

Is it a pain to clean the filters, have to remove the grille right?

It is kind of a pain, yes. You can get away with removing the radiator cover, but you just have less room. Removing the whole front bumper is really the easiest, IMO.
