Looking to buy an intake for the sole purpose of increasing MPGs. Which one increases MPG the most? I commute 80 miles a day so I am cruising most of the time. Was looking at the R2C, love that black nickel look.

Are they any other mods that will increase MPG as well?

Also inflating your tires a bit higher (to 40psi) will help a bit.

theres also a chance that intakes will decrease your MPG since it could cause your engine to run a little more lean

You could try K&N Drop-In's. Around $85 for two if you need two.

Just don't expect any change in mileage using K&Ns. And let's just reiterate that there are NO aftermarket CAIs that will increase mileage on the G37. Infiniti designed it with performance as a priority and MPG was further down the list.

Yes, this will increase MPG a little bit, but it will also increase the tire wear on the center.

So your tires will wear on in the center quicker than on the size.

Not really. . The roads have more to do with wear. Flat straight roads like the higher pressure. Crappy pot hole infested roads with heavy winters don't.

How's that? I always got better mileage with cruise on then off on other cars.

Assume you get a 1 mpg increase. How long will it take you getting an additional 1 mpg to pay for a $500+ intake?
