Whistling sound from engine - '12 G37x
While driving with the windows open, I hear a high pitched whistle while coasting, but at idle. As soon as I give it the slightest bit of throttle, it goes away. It sometimes happens while in park. Here are the facts, hope someone can help:
-Just installed Takeda short CAI. I don't know if it was happening before I did the install
-used hypertech programmer when I installed the intake
-the sound continues for a second after I kill the engine
-it sounds like it's coming from the drivers side intake, but it's hard to pinpoint.
-it goes away if I cover the drivers side intake, but that could also be because the RPM changes.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Takeda short ram known for doing that Let me google that for you
Maybe the Takeda wasn't a good choice. Couldn't use the included Rubber couplers because they were too short, had to replace the clamps because they kept loosening, now this annoying sound.

I had a good experience with them when i ordered the CAI and i got it for $350 brand new instead of the $420 MSRP
