Exhaust

I recently just got a new exhaust set up on my g37 sedan. It's a magna flow cat back but I want it to sound deeper and maybe a little louder. I don't know much about exhaust parts so what do I need to do to get it deeper and louder with less of that rasp.

Remove the resonators if there are any, some peeps will tell you to run a HFC. Intakes will also give you a little low growl as well. That's all I got. What size piping? The diameter can make a difference as well

I believe 2.5 or whatever the magna flow kit comes with. Do hfc make a big difference?
