Anyone have r2c intake?

I don't have it, but several people on the forum have the R2C intakes. You're definitely not going to get *better* mileage. If anything else, you'll be getting slightly worse mileage.

don't count on any discernible power gain from an aftermarket intake on the G37 - it will be negligible. same for fuel economy - no noticeable change. often times a bit worse for the first while as the driver dips into the throttle to hear the new, louder, intake honk.
aftermarket intakes on the G35/37 platform have always been primarily a cosmetic or sound mod - which is a perfectly legitimate reason to go for it if that's what you're after. just don't do it expecting a performance mod.
as far as the R2C is concerned, all reports seem to indicate good build quality and craftmanship.

I have the r2c intakes and I absolutely love them. Typically people say that the car feels "freeir" at the top end. In my opinion this one of the better intakes on the market, especially if you're looking for a quick and easy install without any mods. The filters are also the easiest to maintain because they aren't oil filled filters, like K and n. If you're looking for a great sound when you hit the throttle but you can still drive normally and not sound like a douche, think of it as an exhaust with an on off switch. The best part is that it's all induction noise which sounds awesome.

R2C makes intakes for military vehicles in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. If it can keep out Kuwaiti sand (which is like baby powder), it's good enough for my G. I bought it for sound and protection in that sense.

I started with the R2C's for the simple gact that they are easy to install and remove if you are working on the car.
I just put on the Stillen Gen 3's and those are a big step above the R2C's for both performance and sound. if you can get the Gen 3's and you wont be disappointed.
