stillen gen 3 long tube intake vibrating probs
I installed the long tube intake on my g coupe about a month ago and its been vibrating against my strut tower from the beginning. tried putting little pieces of rubber between them but it always falls off. tried to adjust the fitment and it always just comes back to vibrating. Anyone got any ideas for a permanent solution other than ripping it all out?

Sure you can find a smaller size for cheaper, but this is what you're looking for.

Noy to sound like a jerk or anything, but not sure if you did the install or a shop installed them but they are not installed properly if anything is rubbing. I installed mine and I should post up my DIY.
I will post photos of the install that I did my self, install time was about 10 hours. Because I wanted to make sure it was done right. This was done on my old 2011 G37. I would never install STILLEN again on my car.
Here is the photos.
I used a space form to make sure no contact from pipe to car.

Mine rubbed on our 08 coupe. Spent some time adjusting but it would end up in same place. Used a little rubber adhesive foot from a piece of furniture. Still rubbed where it went through Radiator support. Had severe heartburn cutting up the radiator support enough to be rub free. Now unit is in box. Don't want to install on our new S sedan.

I used this wrap made of cork with a stiffer cardboard/rubber wrap and then black gorilla duck tape around the pipes for where it passes through the radiator support then used a similar soft black padding near the strut towers and have had no issues. Picked all of this up from auto zone. just make sure you dremmel off enough of the core support so the pipes can pass through freely and you have some wiggle room. Shouldn't have any problems.
