Review FI vs Motordyne Shockwave
#16
We are all going to be at Zdays this year!! so we might as well patch thing's up now :-)
Tony is a great guy! and did a awesome job with my F.I setup on my 2011. I loved the setup but it got to the point of being to loud for me but fit and finish was topend!!
I have 2013 IPL now and will be keeping the exhaust stock unless I go Amuse but that's just because the sound for me was to loud! But F.I makes great setup!

Nice writeup, came close to going with the fast intentions, at the last second I decided I just couldn't handle the wait. Bought the motordyne and I'm in love. The sound is soooo deep. The first time I had it installed it sounded so loud, I was afraid of getting tickets left and right. Seems to have quieted down a bit after a few hundred miles but that could just be me getting used to it lol.

Congrats On the Switch DPEG!
You made a Great Choice on Exhaust. Ive been Running My E370 with Long Tube Headers and its crazy how the VVEL system helps it Quiet it down While cruising and Turns into a Beast at WOT. I Bet Your Turbos Help Out a Bit.
And Trust Me, Tony form Motordyne has Great Customer Service, I Live 15mns away from Motordyne.

If you don't want to wait go with motordyne, unless they too have a waiting list
