Mishimoto Post MAF Silicone intake tubes

Hello All,

I need a little help. Just recently bought, from a forum member on myg37.com, Mishimoto Post MAF silicone intake tubes for my 2013 G37S Sedan.

Everything went smooth and I got my item in a timely manner. After opening the box, making sure it came with everything, I noticed that one of the T-Bolt clamps had the bolt missing. I asked the seller (6/6/13), who will not be named, if he/she had forgot to put it in the box, but to no avail, no answer. I am assuming he/she will respond back to me sometime this week. Hopefully....

Anyways, I tried looking on the Mishimoto website to see if I can just buy a new T-Bolt clamp. I was in luck, it was only 5 bucks for one, but it was a ridiculous s/h price of almost 20 bucks. So I said forget it. Unless there are some vendors on this forum that is willing to help me out, which I will start looking after this post, to possibly get buy one t-bolt clamp.

Or maybe as a alternative, I can go to home depot and see if I can find a replacement, hoping that it will be rust free and not degrade while being in the engine bay.

Any help or advice will be helpful and thanks in advance.

There is a link below, from the the 370Z. com forum to show what it looks like.

Just use stock clamp until you can find a suitable replacement. Would work fine, just won't match the others.

Check Amazon.com for the t-clamps.

IcemanVQ37, did you purchase the kit new, or pre-owned from other end consumer?

If needed, you should not have an issue with purchasing a replacement bolt or t-bolt clamp from an local automotive or hardware store.

If you have any more issues or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at sales@mishimoto.com.

Mishimoto,

This was a pre-owned from a forum member here. All I am missing is a bolt for the t-bolt clamp. I have been pretty busy with work, family that I have not had the chance to get a nut replacement for the t-bolt clamp. Which I could possibly find at a Home Depot or some other hardware store. Or a local automotive store.

Do these really make a big difference over the OEM?

debating between a setup like this or the stillen short ram possible even the long ram intakes.

Recommend choosing the silicone intake tubes over any short ram intake.
Reasoning is short ram intakes will increase intake temps due to drawing in warm/hot air from under the hood and the heat soaking of the metal tubes.
Source; personal experience...hot air equals lower performance.
But, if your mod goals are looks/sound over performance, then go with the short ram intakes FTW.
