Service Engine Soon Light Flashing Code: P0080
I picked my car up from the body shop on Wednesday after getting a new bumper put on. When I started it, the SES light was constantly on. I took it to Oreillys and no code came up which I thought was weird. I got home and did an ECU reset and it turned off, but after a few miles, it started flashing slow for a random number of times ranging from 8 to 71 flashes and then it will turn off and do it over and over again. After I shut down my car and turn it back on, the SES stays lit unless I clear the code again which will make it start flashing again. I hooked my Hypertech up to my car and it gives me the code P0080 which is Exhaust Valve Control Solenoid Circuit High Bank 1. Weird thing about it is that my exhaust is really loud now and at idle while im in neutral, the rpm's are going up and down between 1400-1600. Has anyone heard of this?? I have a 2008 G37s 6MT coupe

You have got a major problem, hate to say.
My ses light flashed about 6-7 times at once, then boom.
Long block assembly replaced under warranty, I just put back stock intake.
Motor took a dirt nap.
Body shops have a bad habitt of leaving things exposed or forget to reconnect.
Example back in the day, had a 96 i30t never saw a ses light ever.
Car had 70k at the time, I pick the car up steady lot ses.
Ask the body shop, they reply idk.
Go to the dealer, they forgot to reconnect some harness.
Good luck with your car, I'd get that to dealer ASAP.
