Yesterday I recently added Z1 motorsports High Flow Cats to my 2012 XS coupe. what a difference! The exhaust note is not raspy, its slightly deeper than stock. When driving around there is no drone through out the power band. When you dip into the throttle the car makes its self known. This is how the exhaust should have come from the factory. Also the the quality of the cats and hardware is top notch, super clean welds. The supplied bolts and gaskets are very nice. Z1 has a new life long customer as long as I am in the Nissan / Infiniti family.
never heard of their HFCs but will be looking into them, what was the price tag on them? do you know how they compare with other HFCs such as Berk or Fast Intentions?
got any sound clips? i hear with HFC theres hissing and a weird smell for the first couple 100s mph/kms, did you notice anything, i could be interested if the price is right,
they are priced at $378.00 so i think they undercut the rest of the HFC's out there. I know that the 370 Z guys swear by them. And with about 150 miles on them so far they are performing flawlessly. No hissing no rasp. They are everything i could ask for and then some.
Same here. Was going to go with Berks, but now I see that Z1 uses 300 cell cats (Berk uses 200 cell). Plus they are super reasonable compared to other HFCs.
If these prove to be a good pick up maybe a group, buy later down the road. Search YouTube for vids but couldn't find any with our rides. Looking forward to vids also.
