Art pipes/Ark exhaust = RASP !!

So for a while now I had my Ark exhaust which sounded awesome with the stock cats. But I've heard nothing but great things about getting hfc/test pipes since its a great mod for performance. I decided to go with the Art pipes for there great reputation and proven dyno numbers, and many positive reviews.

But anyway my ark exhaust doesn't sound the same anymore with the art pipes and the rasp I'm getting starting at 3k rpm . At first it didn't bother me , but driving around town the rasp gets more and more annoying. I'm alil upset cause I thought this combination would sound amazing , except sounds a bit like a rice burner now

Anyone else with this combination feel the same way ?

i had ark with kinetics hfc that had rasp, so you would probably have a lot more with just test pipes. i went with fi rhfc and it brought my exhaust note back to what it sounded like with stock cats.

Almost all Test Pipes give off some sort of rasp.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the art pipes weren't suppose to rasp like other test pipes ?

Let me know if you're interested in swapping them out with Fast Intentions Resonated HFCs. I'm extremely confident that it would solve this issue.

ART pipes are "suppose" to remove the rasp, but how they're engineered, not all of the flow goes through the resonator.

you will always have rasp at around 2500 rpm BUT the art test pipes are suppose to cut that down....honesty i have been thinking about doing FI long tube headers...rasp doesnt bother me id rather deal with it for flow and performance

The ART rasp i have is hardly noticeable, but then again i just have an axle back and not a full exhaust.
