Good air intake choice?

I like it because its the short kit so you can see the filters, it comes with black pipes, and as far as I can tell it seems like a good choice.
Edit: I have a 2009 g37x

I prefer the R2C's...they don't use oiled filters so better for the engine and has better designed heatshields, and also comes in black nickel polished, or black powdered, or chrome, and has a lifetime warranty. It is also the short pipes so it doesn't suck up water by accident. I got a deal similar in price to your Injen's shipped for the black nickel version.

Not a fan of the Injen's after reading a couple of stories of water being sucked up the pipe with their long tube cold air intake.

ummmm
I don't recommend u on short intakes, because it will suck the hot air from the engine cabin, thus, it won't give u the told performance.. and this is my opinion, but I don't say DON'T install it..
try and install a long intake, like stillen gen 3 or takeda, which are ultra long and goes all the way behind the grill and infront of the radiator..
this position will make it suck the coldest air coming just directly from outside and will give u a better performance..
this is the stillen ultra long intake
and this is the Takeda

Here's my Injen SRI installed. I've been very happy w/ it thus far. These DO NOT use oiled filters, they're the non-oiled Amsoil parts. The sound is really aggressive at WOT over 3500 rpm, and due to the short nature of the velocity tubes they don't get nearly as hot as the long tube versions, so the dreaded heat soak issues are minimized. If you buy any intake for noticeable dyno gains you won't find much, but for the day-to-day butt dyno they do just fine I know the CAIs have a slight bit of gain on the SRIs but not much, but they do look pretty bad-as$ The install on these is really simple, and just put 2500 miles on them and got the same hwy mileage so I'm happy that there wasn't any loss there. On the city mileage there may be a decrease because it's so addictive to keep my foot in it
I got mine from this Ebay seller, got in in three days and a good price~

I think you're talking about a different Injen Intake than the one the OP was linking, these have the same short stacks, and no oil on the filters.

All new "what's the best intake/exhaust/etc./etc." threads are going to be closed. I understand you're new, but this has been asked and answered dozens of times for anyone willing to simply look for the answers and read what's already here on the forum.
