I have both OEM exhausts.... don't ask why.
Y pipe is the same, muffler only the tips are differnt but fits, but the mid pipe is shorter like BB said.... so if you want to run it. Just swap the muffer section. I had it on just to see and show off my status elite CF diffuser without the tips covering small portion LOL

But for the after market ones, you might have to take it to a muffer shop and get it modified.

Trying to buy used 370z after market exhaust?

If you were to put on extension pipes for the newest g37 and 370z, then the hanger positions would change as well.

so where does the length differ between the two then? there's only 1 hanger location on the mid pipe, if you can line that up, then either the y to mid is short, or the mid to muffler is short.....i would understand it not working if there were 2 sets of hangers on the mid pipe and the difference in length was between the two hangers.....
