You know, I should probably retract what I said earlier. Because if you run without the air filter connected correctly you may have drained all your blinker fluid. Good idea to get that checked out.

you can get cheap intakes that sound nice, don't risk a MUCH more expensive repair, just buy it...

if you leave it unclipped, a lot of particles will get in, it wont affect you right away but gunk will build up and you will be screwed of an engine in the future. dont do it. i hope your friend isnt doing this on his 40k car

and your car already sounds great stock. will risking your engine be worth a little sound?
